I'm a first responder in DC at night and I have monday and tuesday nights off, and most of these groups do things on the weekends or at night when it's too late for me to go out before work. So this group is for people in the same situation who are interested in going out on weekdays or nights. Activities I'd like to do are hiking, museums, movies, mini golf, historical walks, amusement parks.
